1. Code Formatting & Style

1.1 General Rules

• Indentation: Use 4 spaces for JavaScript/TypeScript and Python. Tabs are not permitted.
• Line length: Maximum 120 characters per line. Break long lines logically.
• Trailing whitespace: Not permitted. Configure your editor to strip trailing whitespace on save.
• File endings: All files must end with a single newline character.
• Semicolons (JS/TS): Not used. Prettier is configured with semi: false.
• Quotes (JS/TS): Use single quotes (') for strings. Use template literals (```) for interpolation.
• Quotes (Python): Use double quotes (") for strings consistently.
• Trailing commas (JS/TS): Required where valid in ES5 (objects, arrays, parameters).
• Arrow functions (JS/TS): Omit parentheses around a sole parameter (x => x + 1, not (x) => x + 1).
